Books are meant to open up windows to what is possible.

Each month, we strive to select and share books that capture various forms of diversity, and we hope that the kids in our program are enjoying experiencing characters that are both similar and different from them.

As children begin to form their view of the world and how they fit into it, it's important that they have books available that represent diverse cultures and races.

Our dream is that these pages are opening some windows and doors that our little ones are walking through, to be able to learn something new about themselves and others.

We hope these books inspire future generations to make a positive and inclusive change.

We aim to work with independent publishers and bookstores, including those run by people of color. In doing so, we hope to support and bring visibility to authors, illustrators, and small businesses in alignment with Loving Little Mind's mission to promote diversity and inclusion.

We're grateful to have partnered with these local bookstores and organizations:

Arlington Book Rack, The Toyary, Somerville Growing Center, Melrose Family Room, Medford Family Network, CACHE Medford, The Village Playspace, Medford Public Library, and The Somerville Asian Family Network.

Our mission is to ensure diverse perspectives are accessible to all.

We prioritize sending free books to families who otherwise would not have access to them, working with community leaders, librarians, and educators. Our books are also available through a monthly subscription.
